Work by the hour
CHF 50 / h
For everything that runs on time: meetings from the fourth one on, changes to existing sites, technical advice and support after launch.
- First call free
- Ongoing support
- Technical consulting
Websites, PCs, software and 3D projects for individuals, small businesses and clubs. I'm based in Biel/Bienne and work out with you personally what fits your plan.
No one-size-fits-all: you tell me what you want to achieve - in the first call we work out how I'll get it done.
I design and build your website to fit what you have in mind - from a lean web presence to a web app with login and database.
I put your PC together to suit your use and budget, build it and set it up - from gaming rigs to PCs for everyday work.
Bots, your own apps and small programs that take work off your plate - I develop them as agreed. For 3D models and printed parts, too, we look together at what can be done.
Hosting, game servers, local AI or something that just won't work - you can come to me with those too. Your idea isn't listed? Ask anyway - I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
I don't believe in black-box development. You always know where things stand, and your feedback shapes the result.
We talk about your project, your goals, and what you have in mind. No sales pitch - just an honest introduction.
You get a transparent quote. No fine print, no surprises - you know the cost upfront.
I develop in stages and show you progress regularly. Your feedback flows in directly - so the result gets as close as possible to what you have in mind.
When everything fits, we go live. And if something comes up later, I'm there. Fast, personal, no detours.
Code, servers or interfaces: I want to build solutions that actually work in everyday life - from the foundation up to the people who use them.
The range above isn't a list I copied from somewhere: it's the same work in different shapes. Run a server and you understand why a website is fast. Build a database and you know why a form needs limits. So I don't hop between disciplines - I come from one corner and pull the rest along. What that means for you: you have one person for your project who keeps the whole picture in view.
In short: you have an idea - I make it happen. In the first call we talk about what's possible and what it costs, then I get to work.
My motivation? My own servers and my own projects - and they keep asking for more hardware, which isn't cheap. A large part of what I earn from client work goes straight back into that. For you this means: the experience from my own projects flows into yours. I keep building the same things I offer you in my own time - and every project makes me better at the next one.
We work together as equals: you see progress as it happens, you tell me what fits, and I tell you honestly what's possible and what isn't. If something gets stuck - while building or later in operation - I take care of it personally instead of passing you on to a hotline. If a request isn't right for me, I'll say so in the first call - not after three invoices.

The first call is free and doesn't commit you to anything - we simply find out together whether it's a fit.
No hidden fees. I show you upfront what your project costs.

from CHF 500
Custom websites start at CHF 500. After the free first call you get a quote with a fixed price - three meetings are included, only from the fourth one on do CHF 50 per hour apply.
Fixed-price quote
You describe what you have in mind, I estimate the effort - and you get a fixed price in the quote before we start. The first call costs nothing.
250 CHF
A ready-made website template we set up together in about two hours: you bring your text and images, we put them in together. Then I show you how the admin panel works and how to set up backups - so from then on you can change your site yourself. You choose the hosting freely - beforehand we check together that it suits the template. The kit is still in preparation - write to me if you're interested and I'll get back to you as soon as it's ready.
Three meetings are included with your custom website; the first call doesn't count towards them and is free anyway. If we need more, you hear it from me before the hour is spent - not on the invoice.
An example: a lean website with a few pages comes in at CHF 500. More pages or features like booking, login or several languages raise the price - by how much is fixed in your quote before we start.
Not included are the recurring costs for domain and hosting: a domain runs to about CHF 15 a year depending on the ending, hosting depends on the provider. We settle both with real figures before we start, not on the first invoice.
All prices are final prices in Swiss francs - the amount in the quote is the amount on the invoice. No hidden surcharges.
You decide how much I take care of. If questions or problems come up, you always reach me personally - no hotline, no ticket system.
CHF 15 / month
I keep the server, updates and backups running and handle the small changes that come up over time - new text, images, opening hours. Up to one hour a month is included; it doesn't carry over to the next month. If something needs more time, we talk it through together first.
CHF 10 / month
Server, updates and backups run with me. I'm happy to make changes for you - we agree on them briefly and I bill them by the hour.
billed by the hour
I set everything up with your provider and show you how it works. After that it's in your hands - and if you need help later, I'm glad to step in.
A straightforward website is usually done in two to four weeks - depending on how quickly content and feedback come from your side. We agree on the timeframe together before we start.
That's what the feedback rounds are for: two come with your custom website, and in them we change what doesn't fit. I work towards a result that's as close as possible to what you have in mind. Anything beyond that is billed by the hour - and I tell you beforehand, not afterwards.
For a custom website, yes. You get the code I write for you, all agreed project files and the necessary access - you are tied to nothing, neither to me nor to a platform charging monthly rent. Third-party building blocks (libraries, fonts, maps) come under their own licences; the quote lists which ones the project uses.
For a custom website: tell me in the first call. Together we work out which way suits you - whether I take care of changes for you or you edit text and images yourself, and what that takes. An editing area isn't included automatically; if you want one, we plan it into the quote.
There are three options: with support basics, hosting only, or you host it yourself and I set it up. The prices are above - you pick what fits.
Then I get in touch or you do, and I take care of it - personally, no ticket system. If you host with me, I run daily backups; with another host, that depends on your provider and what we agree. But I won't promise guaranteed uptime, because I can't guarantee it on my infrastructure.
Your content: texts, images, logo - as far as they exist. For a custom website, if something's missing, that's no obstacle: in the first call we look at what you have and sort out how the rest comes together - from a draft text by me to images you deliver later.
Yes, gladly. A new subpage, a stubborn bug, a section that needs freshening up - I bill such jobs by the hour, and you get an effort estimate beforehand.
Yes, openly and gladly - tools like Claude or Codex speed up the build enormously, and I pass that price advantage on. What matters is what the AI doesn't take over: deciding what should be built, and having the result checked by someone who understands the code. How I go about this is on the blog.
Tell me about it anyway. PC builds, bots, your own programs, 3D models and prints, game servers or local AI - I build a lot of that for my own projects too. In the first call I'll tell you honestly whether I can take it on - if not, you'll know after one conversation instead of three invoices.
By phone or video call, and in person in the Biel area if you prefer. Plan on about 30 minutes. You tell me what you have in mind and I ask what I need for an estimate - no preparation needed; if you have examples you like, bring them. Afterwards you get a written quote and decide in your own time. The call is free and you're under no obligation.
By invoice, payable within 30 days. For custom websites I invoice half at the start and the rest on handover. Hourly work is billed at the end, monthly for longer jobs. If you cancel a project, you only pay for what has been done so far - at the hourly rate, at most up to the agreed price.
Your question wasn't here? Just write to me.
Just write me a short message - I'll get back to you within 48 hours on business days.
